Caravan-Camp Farm Stay: I found this place when desperate for a bed in Narrabri, and what a gem it turned out to be! I sat around the fire, having tea and a few drinks after a long motorcycle ride, accompanied by Darcy, the dog. The hosts were great, we will definitely be back, only for longer next time 👍

Cottage Farm Stay: Loved the rustic styling. Private rooms and bathrooms were wonderful. Do yourself a favour and wake up and watch the sunrise over the paddocks.

Cottage Farm Stay: Riverside Farm Retreat was perfect for our group of three couples who had come to explore Mt Kaputar National Park. Meredith and Ian were very helpful and welcoming, and we loved our stay by the river.

Caravan-Camp Farm Stay: It's an amazing place to camp, right on the river. Amazing hosts and a well-maintained site. We stayed here for two nights over NYE and were on our own! Unheard of... Amazing. Darcy is a great dog and was good with our dogs, even though ours were a bit vocal.

Cottage Farm Stay: We had the most wonderful two night stay at this astonishingly beautiful B&B in early November & wished we'd stayed another night. Together with their pet Emu Pepper, therapy dog Darcy, Meredith & Ian are fabulous hosts, warm & welcoming. The location alongside the Namoi River is quiet & tranquil, with great facilities for self catering. We enjoyed the easy access from the farm to explore Mt Kaputar National Park. We have raved to friends about this gem & hopefully will be back in the Autumn with them to share this little bit of paradise.

Caravan-Camping: What an amazing place! We had it all to ourselves for the first day and it was magical! Camped right by the river with a great fire to keep us warm. Pepper the Emu came to visit a few times. After a few cruskits she let me pat her, a novel and unique experience.The scenery, the bird life, the serenity make this camping ground an absolute winner!

Beautiful location for exploring Mt Kaputar National Park and Narrabri

Caravan-Camp: We camped for 2 nights in the camping area. Stunning location adjacent to the river. Nice level area with picnic tables and fire pits. Also a porta loo, but no shower. Amazing sunrises. Darcy came for a few visits and Loves! a pat and will nudge you if you stop; occasionally she brings her 2 friends who also love a good pat. This is a great location for exploring Mt Kaputar National Park.

Cottage Farmstay: We four arrived from Lightning Ridge for 2 night stay. WE took a 10 day trip free from Sydney iso during COVID. When it was over we wanted to stay longer. Tiredness from the drive evaporated overnight in comfortable beds and en-suites. Pampered by the luxury of three different living spaces: The Deck with long views of the river. The western side lounges protected by transparent blinds at the enclosed log fire had views of the paddocks and quarter/stock horse stud. Inside lounges next to the spacious kitchen with all necessities. The hosts were helpful and amiable enjoying a brief time with us over drinks and yarns.Having a log fire set and lit is great.The property is 1 hour drive to Mt Kaputar NP.So many glens, walks, views of vastness. Enjoy. RECOMMENDED. To the TOP of the mountain. The place offers other activities. If those are insufficient the Visitor Center in Narrabri is excellent with displays and helpful staff.Include Sawn Rocks as a walk if you want to enjoy the drive to Bingara for a v. good pie at the Homemade Pie Shop.

Cottage Farm Stay: We went to attend AgQuip and chose to live here. My group enjoyed our time at Riverside so much. We were looked after very well and felt so welcome from Meredith and Darcy, a very lovely dog. We felt like we were staying with close family and friends. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed and the view of the river, the friendly animals, the warm fireplace, the yummy food and the most wonderful owners! Overall, a great place to break up a long trip and we enjoyed the serenity and hospitality.

Cottage Farm Stay; Our whole family enjoyed our time at Riverside so much. When we arrived we immediately felt such peacefulness. We were looked after and felt so welcome from the owners. The cabin is in such a picture perfect spot right on the river. Our whole family enjoyed our stay and cant wait to come back and visit again. The highlights were....the view of the river, the friendly animals, the cabin with everything we needed and more, the warm fireplace, the yummy food and the most wonderful owners! What a gorgeous place !!!

Cottage Farm Stay: This was the halfway point on our trip home to the Sunshine Coast from Canberra and was a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful place to spend the night. While it's a little way out of town (and don't try using your Google maps as you'll get lost!) Meredith sent clear directions and we were soon settling in on the expansive deck enjoying a glass of wine watching the sun go down.The cabin/s are joined to the main owners' residence by a lovely breezeway which ensures privacy for both them and guests. It is set in a working horse stud, and while we were there 2 beautiful horses (Clydesdales?) stayed close by and we enjoyed watching them.Our small dog was welcome and he enjoyed his time exploring.

Its "HEAVEN " !! a must visit place!!!

I have been travelling around Australia for last 3 years and i must say... this is the best place i have ever been here in Australia. Its a complete package with great views...good rooms...great environment and lovely people...Ian and Meredith made us feel like at HOME . They have a beautiful farm just by the river. We stayed here for 2 nights but we wished we could spend more time here.. But we are definitely visiting this place soon :)
